House of Feanor- Maglor by Hemhet House of Feanor- Maglor by Hemhet
Maglor with Elros and Elrond.
"Maglor took pity upon Elros and Elrond, and he cherished them, and love grew after between them, as little might be thought; but Maglor's heart was sick and weary with the burden of the dreadful oath."
(J.R.R. Tolkien "The Silmarillion")

I made a 3D book for the art contest of the Hungarian Tolkien Society ([link]) and I got the first palce in the "other" categorie.
The closed book is 21,5 cm high and 15,5 cm wide.
2010.

Yes of course. I made it with pencils, watercolours, ink and of course with scissors. I cut out the papers, glue together the layers (on the photo of the book you can see: there is three layers) and finally made the book cover.

Thanks =) I'll try to figure out how they were put together so well, to make it 3D, yet to be able to close the book =)

The inner (the second)layer is smaller, than the front layer. In this case you are able to close the book.
