Cirdan with Elros and Elrond on the shore.
"Eärendil became fast in friendship with Círdan the Shipwright"
(J.R.R. Tolkien "The Silmarillion") I think the shipwright told stories to Elros and Elrond about Earendil, and his ship Vingilot.
"And it is said that Elwing learned the tongues of birds..." (J.R.R. Tolkien "The Silmarillion") In my opinion the sea-birds brought news to Elwing of her sons. Therefore standing a bird on the boat.

Ah, the other side. Over the sea lies Aman. :) A good supplement to the other picture. Still really strange for me with a bearded Elf. Strange 3rd circle of life or something.

Thanks :)
Yes, a bearded elf is strange for me too. That's why I didn't drew a long beard (He would have looked like a dwarf :))

Love the color and texture! :) I am fond of the seagull perched on the boat.

The seagull maybe brings news to Elwing of her sons. :)

Beautiful drawing! I like how clearly you can see the different fates the brothers will choose, although they look almost alike. Elrond is looking over the Sea, to the Undying Lands, while Elros clearly has interest only for this shore and present moment.

Thank you, I'm happy that you like it. :)
Elros is who stands with Cirdan. Not well to see, but he is wearing the ring of Barahir. Elrond was who stayed in Middle-earth for ages. He is drawing a ship in the sand.

I'm sorry but you won't convince me. I see them reversed in the picture :)
