Nicely done picture of things. I really like Feanor's refusing expression.
I'm glad, that you like my drawing
Regarding the accuracy of sibling ages in elvish family portraits, it just occurred to me how sad it is that these guys would not have experienced childhood together. Shared experiences in childhood are a powerful bond, especially when you are close in age. (Feanor's twin sons would be an obvious exception to this.)
Depicting the children of Finwe as close in age, is to put the elvish circumstances into terms that we mortals can relate to. It is superb!
As many people have already said, Miriel's tapestry is of great significance in this picture. Everything about it is perfect, and meaningful.
I've been thinking on the age of Finwe's children. Finally I decided I will draw them with not too big age difference.
I'm happy that you like the idea of Miriel's tapestry.
Although the ages aren't rightfully canon, I think this is a very good idea.Fëanor's expression is just great. And how he stands by his mothers picture. Out of the room but stol close to the others, as if he just wants Finwë to notice his feelings, and still not.
Very sweet picture, although sad.
I was thinking a lot of on the ages, but I can't decided, how old are in this time Feanor and his brothers.
I'm happy that you noticed Míriel behind Feanor. This tapestry is a selfportrait at her wedding. I wanted show in one picture the king's "old" and "new" family.
